Vehicle transfer between the start and finish venues

You will need to drive your own car to the finish venue, which is approximately 25 minutes drive from the start/registration venue, Hawane Resort.  These venues are about 26 kms apart.  We recommend that you arrive at Hawane Resort around lunchtime on Wednesday 12 October 2011 so that you can drive your own car to the finish venue later that afternoon.  We will provide a free shuttle service from the finish venue to bring you back to the start/registration.

Directions to the finish venue

The finish is at Maguga Lodge overlooking the magnificent Maguga Dam. This is situated on the tarred loop road that branches off the MR1 between Mnyokane and Piggs Peak.  From Hawane direction, travel towards Piggs Peak, pass Malolotja Nature Reserve entrance, and then 6km thereafter turn right at Mnyokane and head down to the dam wall.  Coming from Piggs Peak direction, turn left off the MR1 shortly after Piggs Peak, just before the Swaziland Plantations Mill.  Follow the road to the dam wall.
